What was covered during the workshop?
- Groundwater management in the subbasin.
- Ashley Couch (San Joaquin County): Provided an overview of SGMA including GSA responsibilities and reporting timelines.
- Chelsea Spier (Department of Water Resources): Information on the State’s regulatory role in SGMA and the various assistance programs available to GSAs.
- Updates of current subbasin conditions and Annual Report.
- Mike Cornelius (GEI): Discussed Annual Report updates and current groundwater conditions during the 2025 water year. Overview of subbasin’s sustainability goals, and the projects and management actions being conducted to help maintain sustainability.
